Why Andalusia is the Gardener’s Dream

An ideal subtropical climate, the brilliant light, the beautiful flowers, shrubs and trees growing everywhere – all it makes you feel like you are in Paradise.

There’s no snow (well, there’s some on high mountains in the winter), no ice, no low grey sky (ok, only a few days during a year, not for weeks or months!).

You may get some steady rain in the winter or several days with really strong wind… BUT, the flowers, shrubs and trees in your garden are green.

Right now in the middle of February I can enjoy the magnificent view of almond trees with its white and pink clouds of blossom, graceful narcissus, an attractive rosemary with its light blue flowers and lavender with its famous scented flowers.

Definitely, gardening here is different from gardening in colder climates.
